Just got back from the Kern and Owens Rivers. Had the Kern to myself. Shared the Owens, but found a bend in the river I'll never forget. Grey caddis started to emerge as I arrived and continued for three hours until the river was blanketed with them. Brown trout heaven. Phenomenal hatch.
